Age requirements vary. Refer to your event information for any age requirement details.

Service animals, as defined TX HR Code, Section 121.002, assisting visitors with disabilities are allowed. Pets or any other non-trained assistance animals are prohibited.

There are no ATMs on premises but may be provided for specific events upon prior arrangement. Please review your event information for details.

Baby changing tables are available in family restrooms throughout the facility. 

For your safety and security, all bags are subject to inspection before entering the theater. Please allow extra time prior to your performance. Over-sized bags, luggage, and backpacks, at the sole discretion of VPAC, may not be permitted inside the venue. Walkthrough metal detectors may also be used as part of this security check. Please review our Clear Bag Policy.

Patrons will be refused entry if they are in possession of prohibited items including, without limitation,  alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, food, drinks, containers or packages, video recorders, audio recorders, laptops, laser pointers,  weapons of any type (including pocket knives and personal defense devices), glitter, confetti, streamers, and anything that will be disruptive to the performance including balloons, noise makers inflatables, vehicles of any kind. VPAC retains the sole and exclusive authority to determine and enforce policies regarding prohibited items within its premises or events.

Helium filled balloons are not allowed in the VPAC. Non-helium filled balloons for balloon arches and displays will be considered per event. 

Photographing or recording any and all elements of the performances is strictly prohibited. Patrons violating this will be removed from the facility.

MHAB Café offers light catering options for various types of events. For additional information, complete an event request form. Outside catering is allowed with prior arrangement.

Drones are not permitted on premise without prior written approval from VPAC. For additional information please call 281-897-4000.

Elevators for all guests are located in two locations inside the facility.

The VPAC is committed to providing the highest standard of safety for our visitors and employees. Emergency response procedures have been developed to address an emergency or crisis that might arise at the VPAC.

In the event of an emergency please follow the direction of staff, volunteers, security/police personnel and any overhead announcements.

Family restrooms are located throughout the facility.

First aid equipment is located on site. Please see a volunteer, staff member, or usher if medical assistance is required.

Guest safety is our first priority. We strive to provide guests with a safe and comfortable environment. To help us achieve our goal of outstanding guest service, we ask for guest cooperation in the following areas:

• Students, parents, and all other guests are expected to follow CFISD policies, including the student code of conduct, on VPAC premises.
• Respect other guests' ability to enjoy the event. Guests will be asked to leave if their behavior is deemed to be inappropriate or offensive.
• Refrain from using foul/abusive language and/or making obscene or derogatory gestures.
• For the safety of all guests, do not interfere with the progress of the event or enter any performance or restricted areas (stage, backstage, and etc.). 
• Derogatory language, whether spoken or written, regarding any matter including without limitation race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual preference, or national origin is prohibited. Vulgar, profane, threatening, bullying, abusive, or offensive language is similarly prohibited.
• The following actions and behavior are violations of the Guest Code of Conduct and are prohibited:
• Acting in a manner that is unruly, disruptive, and/or illegal.
• Displaying inconsiderate, vulgar, profane, threatening, bullying, abusive, offensive, or      otherwise inappropriate behavior toward staff and/or other guests.
• Using foul/abusive language and/or making obscene or derogatory gestures.
• Displaying obscene, indecent, and/or inappropriate clothing.
• Displaying profane or inflammatory images or language.
• Intentionally placing, dropping, tossing, or throwing any substance or object into event areas.
• Interference with the progress of the event.
• Fighting, taunting, or making threatening gestures.
• Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, or using smokeless tobacco.
• Damaging or attempting to damage the facility and/or its contents or property.
• Possessing or using illegal drugs or abusing prescription drugs.
• Obstructing the view of other guests. 
• Sitting or standing on seat backs, seats, or stepping over/on seats.
• Standing or sitting in the walkways, aisles, or ramps.
• Placing cups or other items on walls or ledges.

The VPAC maintains a policy of zero tolerance regarding any violation of the Guest Code of Conduct. Any guest who violates the Code of Conduct will be subject to immediate ejection as well as possible arrest and prosecution. VPAC retains the sole and exclusive authority to determine and enforce policies regarding Guest Code of Conduct within its premises or events.

Pursuant to section 46.03, penal code (places weapons prohibited), a person may not carry a firearm or other weapon on this property.

Any items found within VPAC should be brought to the attention of VPAC employee. If items are lost during the event, guests can check with VPAC Ushers. Please note that items delivered to Lost and Found will be held no longer than 30 days. Lost credit cards will be shredded within 72 hours for customer protection. To ensure guest safety, both handheld and walk through, metal detectors may be used to enter VPAC.

Selected events will offer mobile ticketing options to access VPAC.

Designated area for nursing mothers is available. Please ask a VPAC Usher for the mother’s room.

Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the venue.

Parking spaces available at VPAC and the Mark Henry Administration Building, including many ADA spaces. Please review the maps to identify which lots are best for quicker entry to your event.

Only trained service animals, as defined TX HR Code, Section 121.002, are allowed. All other animals are prohibited.

The following items will not be permitted inside VPAC:

• Aerosol cans
• Alcohol
• Animals (except for service animals as defined TX HR Code, Section 121.002)
• Bags larger than 6” X 9” X 5”
• Non transparent backpacks (possible exceptions include diaper bags,, single-compartment drawstring bags, and other bags used for medical reasons if they are within the CFISD size requirements to not exceed  6” X 9” X 5”)
• Banners or signs of any size
• Clothing deemed obscene or indecent
• Costumes / Costume masks
• Drones
• Fireworks
• Folding chairs
• Hoverboards and other personal recreational devices including without limitation skateboards, roller skates, roller shoes, bicycles, wagons for children
• Inflatables (i.e. beach balls, basketballs, balloons)
• Illegal drugs
• Laser pointers
• Luggage
• Noise makers (whistles, horns, bells, etc.)
• Outside food and/or drink
• Poles or sticks of any kind (i.e. flagpoles, broom handles, nets)
• Strollers
• Tripods and bipods
• Weapons - including without limitation, firearms, knives, personal protection devices such as mace or a taser.
• Any item deemed, by VPAC, to be inappropriate, hazardous, distasteful, or not supporting the event.
• We reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel, or other item and to deal with any unattended object, bag, or luggage as appropriate.
• VPAC retains the sole and exclusive authority to determine and enforce policies regarding prohibited items within its premises or events.

Derogatory language, whether spoken or written, regarding race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual preference, or national origin is prohibited. Such language, whether directed at staff, other guests, students, or officials is inexcusable, unacceptable, and inconsistent with the values of CFISD.

Vulgar, profane, threatening, bullying, abusive, or offensive language is similarly prohibited.

VPAC has a policy of zero tolerance regarding any violation of the Guest Code of Conduct. Any guest who violates the Code of Conduct will be subject to immediate ejection as well as possible arrest and prosecution.

Re-entry options vary by events. Please select the specific event to get re-entry details.

Standing or stepping on seats may lead to serious bodily injury. VPAC requests, for your safety and other guests, that you do not step, stand, or use seats in a manner other than intended.

Security officers and personnel are stationed throughout the venue during all events. In the case of a security incident, immediately notify a member of the VPAC staff, CFISD Police or an Andy Frain Services contracted security officer.

In compliance with CFISD security policies, all guests entering VPAC are subject to inspection by handheld and walk-through metal detectors as well as other protocols deemed by security staff members.

VPAC enforces a Clear Bag Policy. Bags exceeding 6” x 9” x 5” must be clear. All bags are subject to inspection prior to entry.

Items not allowed in the facility will not be held by security staff members or other event personnel. No items surrendered to security will be stored or returned. To ensure guest safety, the VPAC security team reserves the right to refuse admittance of any item deemed hazardous, suspicious, or offensive.

Guests are reminded to leave all prohibited items at home.

Service animals are welcome inside the VPAC and must always remain on a leash or in a harness. A service animal, as defined TX HR Code, Section 121.002, is a canine that is specially trained or equipped to help a person with a disability and is used by the person. Service animals are typically dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.  If you intend to bring a service animal to an event, please notify your ticket representative at the time of purchase so that an aisle seat may be reserved for you or contact us in advance by sending an e-mail to VPAC@cfisd.net  or 346-227-6110.

Please note, per the ADA, emotional support, therapy, comfort, companion animals or service-animals-in-training do not have rights and are not allowed in VPAC.

Smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited on all CFISD property including venues, parking lots, entrances, and exits. 

Strollers are not allowed inside VPAC. Exceptions may be made for some events. Check the details for your event or contact the VPAC front office for information.

The VPAC does not offer public tours. If you are interested in renting one of our event spaces (Visual Arts Room, Dance Room, Black Box Theater and or Main Theater) please contact us by sending an e-mail to VPAC@cfisd.net or 346-227-6110.

 VPAC Ushers can provide assistance accessing the venue and seat locations. Just look for the Ushers or ask any staff member or volunteer for assistance.
