History

The Visual and Performing Arts Center (VPAC) is a state-of-the-art facility located within the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD) in Northwest Houston. Constructed as part of the district's 2019 bond initiative. The VPAC was completed and opened in December 2022, providing a modern venue for student performances and events. 

Designed by PBK Architects, the VPAC features a 1,500-seat auditorium with two balconies, a smaller secondary theater, visual arts display areas, dance studios, and various production support spaces. The main auditorium is equipped with an automated orchestra pit, a full-fly loft, and is spacious enough to accommodate the full CFISD orchestra, dance performances, and various art presentations.
